Dryness around the eyes can be due to both external and internal factors. Environmental conditions like extreme weather (too hot or too cold) and sudden changes in the weather. Harsh chemicals in skincare and cosmetic products or even in the environment. Excessive rubbing on or around eyes. Using dirty makeup brushes and sponges. Certain makeup products like mascaras and concealers. Sunburn is also a major cause of dryness around the eyes. Dermatological conditions such as dermatitis or eczema. The causes are varied, but it is essential to take care of the sensitive skin under the eyes to eliminate dryness and also prevent recurrence of the condition. 1.Aloe Vera Gel

 Aloe vera is a very good product for the eyes. It moisturizes the eyes well and also reduces the dark circles. It contains 18 amino acids that work together to heal and soothe dry, irritated skin. The gel also helps stimulate collagen formation to help restore the suppleness of the skin around our eyes. The gel also acts as a good moisturizer and emollient for the eyes.

How to use

  • Apply some aloe vera gel on your eyes.
  • Leave it for a full night.
  • Wash it with cold or normal water in the morning.

Caution

Be little careful with aloe vera gel, don’t put it in your eyes. You may get itchy or watery eyes. It may also cause blurred vision. Aloe Vera gel is supposed to be used for external purposes only.

2.Almond oil

Almond oil having properties of moisturizing the skin and give a glow to the skin. Almond oil is naturally anti-inflammatory, so it reduces puffy bags under the eyes and dark circles. It’s a good source of vitamin K, which improves clotting, reducing discoloration under the eyes. It contains palmatic acid and retinol, which moisturize delicate under-eye skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

How to use

  • Use almond oil at night around the eyes and sleep.
  • Wash it in the morning with normal water.

You can see the results in 20 days.

Caution

Although it has no side effects as such, some people are allergic to nutty ingredients and show allergic symptoms when they use them on the skin. Such people are advised not to use almond oil.

3.Vitamin E oil

  • Just poke a capsule carefully.

Caution

  • Just dip two cotton balls in rose water.

Caution

There is no danger if rose water gets into your eyes but it should be first diluted with water.

Glycerin is best to get rid of dryness and flaky skin. It’s good for hairs as well as for the skin. It is used to treat many oily skin conditions, like acne, skin infections, wrinkles, and fine lines.

How to use

  • Dab some drops of glycerin on a cotton pad or on your fingertips.
  • Gently apply on your eyes at night.
  • Wash it with normal water in the morning.

Caution

If glycerin goes directly into your eyes then immediately wash your eyes with water.
