Acrylic nails are created by mixing the two components which are a liquid monomer and powder polymer which creates a hard protective layer that will be sculpted over the natural nail. After that, it will be shaped and buffed for a shiny finish.
Gel Nails Extensions
This is another type of the nails extensions. The consistency of this gel is just like the hair gel. These are different from the acrylic nails extensions as they don’t need to be mixed with any other thing. The gel is applied in two ways that are it can be applied to the artificial nail or it can be applied directly to the natural nail bed to strengthen them and to make them long naturally.
Fiberglass Nails Extensions

Follow this 13 Easy Steps to solve your doubt on ” How To Apply Nail Extensions ”
Step 1. Clean your Nails
Make sure that the nail is clean. Invisible dirt and grime can prevent a good adherence with the acrylic.
Step 2. Push Back Cuticles
Cuticles should be pushed back with either an orange stick or a cuticle pusher.
Step 3. Sand or Buffer the Nail
Using either an electronic sander or buffer, remove the shine from the nail. Make sure to not apply any pressure to the nail when you do this.
Step 4. Use the Acrylic Nail to Estimate Placement
The acrylic nail needs to be connected to the natural nail just right. It is important to not have the acrylic too close to the end of the nail or it will not adhered. Similarly, if the acrylic is too low on the nail bed, it will get into the sides of the nail and will not lay nicely.
Step 5. Apply the Tip
Press the acrylic tip to where it should connect to the natural nail. It is important to not put excessive pressure on the nail.
Step 6. Shape the Nail
Using nail cutters and a nail file, shape the nail however you want it to look.
Step 7. Make the Connection Smooth
Using a sanding tool, smooth out the connection between the acrylic and natural nail. This will create a uniform connection.
Step 8. Apply pH Bond
Make sure to apply a pH bond to your nail. This will dehydrate the nail and remove excess nails. The nail bed should be dry for the acrylic application.
Step 9. Apply the Acrylic Primer
Paint the acrylic primer on the nail. Without this, the acrylic will not stick to the nail.
Step 10. Use the Powder and Monomer Mix
Using the brush, dip it into the monomer and push it to the bottom of the liquid. This removes any bubbles from the monomer. Using the wet side of the brush, dip it into the powder.
Place the mixture onto a solid surface and observe the edges. A wetter bead should be used at the base of the nail and a mixture that holds its edges without excess moisture will be good for building the acrylic.
Step 11. Place Beads on Nail Zones
The tip of the nail will be zone 1, the middle nail will be zone 2, and the lower nail will be zone 3. Apply one bead in each zone and hold the nail down so that the bead goes with the force of gravity. Zone 3 needs a wetter bead so that you have more control of the shaping.
Step 12. Test Dryness
To file your nail, it needs to be dry. To check if it is dry, tap the nail.
Step 13. File the Shape
After nail gets dry file it in desired shape.
It is not easy to apply acrylic nails, but with time you should develop the skill necessary to apply and remove acrylic nails. Remember that acrylic does weaken your nails over time, so it is important to practice optimal nail health.
